We develop brands from the inside, out.

The Inside

Discover your brand’s reach, audience, market, purpose, and beliefs. How we develop brands is grounded in where that brand will live and who it will interact with. If you already have some of this information, we can leverage that too.

We gather and develop this foundation with:

  • Brand awareness studies
  • Audience insights
  • Market research
  • Stakeholder interview
  • Strategy & tactics
  • Positioning
  • Brand pillars

The Outside

Define the brand with a strategic identity.

If you have a brand that doesn’t properly represent your business, or you have no brand at all yet, these are things we can help you with:

  • Voice and tone
  • Expressions (tagline, key marketing points)
  • Visual identity
  • Campaign concepts
  • Copywriting
  • Brand partnership approach
  • Content strategy

Ongoing Support

If you’re the Founder of a small business, or leading a team at a larger company, we offer select clients:

It All Started in Brooklyn
The brand name, Third and Nevins, is a nod to the Brooklyn neighborhood where the designer’s family is from. Our goal was to define an identity that balanced the nostalgia of old Brooklyn with the chic and minimalist style of the product.

A Little of Both
To do this, we married elevated tones with warm gradients and developed a classic text-based logo with accents that speak back to the product. The result is an identity that is as classic as it is elegant.

Designing for Flexibility
We also knew that the designer wanted to find a way to incorporate the logo onto the watch face, again, while still maintaining that minimal style. Our flexible logo system gave the designer a range to work with, whether he was adding it to his website or the watch itself.
